Job summary

Five Rivers Childcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated Social Worker for Doncaster on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. The role is home-based with regular travel across the Doncaster area to support foster carers and attend meetings, while delivering high-quality supervision and support.

You will work within a trauma-informed model, collaborating with local authorities and internal professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience of working with children, young people, and families.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support and supervision to foster carers to ensure safe, stable, and nurturing care for children and young people.
• Collaborate with foster families, local authorities and internal professionals to promote positive outcomes for children.
• Manage a manageable caseload within a trauma-informed practice framework.
• trabalham closely with the fostering team to ensure continuity of support across the caseload.
