Job summary

RAC is looking for a Roadside Technician in Wakefield to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics. You’ll receive a competitive base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000 and excellent benefits. Ideal candidates will have a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and at least 2 years' experience.

The role involves working locally, starting and finishing from home, addressing breakdowns in your area with your own RAC van and diagnostic tools provided.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need it most.
