Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Enhanced Rehabilitation Service in Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership. You will deliver person-centred rehabilitation in patients' own homes, assess performance, plan and review evidence-based interventions, and support safe discharge and recovery.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, bring registered OT status, and demonstrate clinical reasoning, communication and organisational skills within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration (or eligible).
• Sound clinical reasoning and effective communication.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred rehabilitation in patients' homes.
• Assess occupational performance and plan, deliver and review interventions.
• Support safe hospital discharge and home recovery.
• Manage a delegated caseload with supervision from senior staff.
• Collaborate with families, carers and partner services.
