Overview

In your role as a Home Administrator at HC-One, you’ll have one quality that truly sets you apart: kindness. You’ll help ensure Residents are treated with respect and dignity, and you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people through excellent administrative support.

As a Home Administrator this will mean managing administrative systems and processes to support the Home Manager in running services. You’ll maintain reliable financial records and prepare reports, administer the Time & Attendance system, and process payroll and HR information, always with Resident wellbeing in mind.

HC-One is looking for someone with an IT and Administration qualification, such as ECDL, and experience providing admin or secretarial support in a busy office. You’ll need strong Microsoft Office skills, time management and organisational abilities. Beyond that, it’s all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. When communicating with a Resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.

Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative systems and processes to support the Home Manager in running services.
  • Maintain impeccable financial records and prepare reports.
  • Administer the Time & Attendance system and process payroll and HR information.
  • Ensure safeguarding awareness and reporting, with training as required.
  • Participate in safeguarding training appropriate to the role and undertake additional training as needed.
  • Provide full training support and contribute to continuous improvement in administrative services.
Qualifications
  • IT and Administration qualification (e.g., ECDL) and admin/secretarial experience in a busy office.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, time management and organisational abilities.
