Job summary

Harris Academy Benfleet is seeking a passionate Home Academy Liaison Officer to champion student attendance, welfare and inclusion. You will work closely with families and staff to support vulnerable students and help them engage fully in school life and achieve their potential.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week across 41 weeks per year with a salary of £26,296–£27,430. The successful candidate will have degree-level qualifications, safeguarding training and knowledge of learning barriers.

Qualifications

• Qualifications to degree level (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of behaviour for learning policies in schools.
• Knowledge of the range of barriers to learning that students face.
• Training in child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and willingness to engage in further training.
