Job summary

Angard Recruitment invites applicants for Seasonal Collection & Delivery Driver roles to support the Christmas rush. You will collect and deliver parcels using a 3.5t van, lift up to 30kg, and provide friendly service to customers at homes or businesses. Shifts run across Monday–Saturday 07:45–17:45 with weekly pay and a flexible, seasonal schedule.

A full UK manual licence (6 points max) is required. This temporary role offers independence and variety while helping a trusted brand handle high

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience or confidence in driving a 3.5t van.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a special touch of holiday cheer.
• Ability to safely lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Strong organisational skills with the capability to work independently.
• Positive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work, especially under the festive rush.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks to ensure safe delivery of holiday cheer.
• Collect and deliver parcels, including Christmas gifts and seasonal goods, to residential and business addresses.
• Provide professional, friendly, and dependable service to enhance the festive spirit among customers.
• Sort and organise parcels efficiently before embarking on delivery routes.
• Utilise a handheld PDA device to follow planned routes efficiently during the high-demand season.
• Safely lift, move, and deliver parcels weighing up to 30kg, ensuring all holiday packages are handled with care.
