Qualifications

• Experience conducting property inspections within a local authority or similar setting.
• Knowledge of HMO licensing and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
• Ability to manage a busy caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance inspections of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs).
• Assess property conditions and ensure adherence to licensing requirements.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records.
• Advise landlords on compliance and remedial actions.
• Take enforcement actions when necessary.
