A leading educational recruitment agency is looking for a qualified HLTA to work at a SEN school in Kirkham, UK. The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons to small class sizes, supporting learners from early years through to post-16, and adapting teaching approaches to meet diverse needs. Ideal candidates will have HLTA status or significant relevant experience, strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships. Start Date: 5th January
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week
Pay: 110 - 144.89 per day
Deliver pre-planned lessons to class sizes of up to 10 pupils.
Work across the whole school, supporting learners from early years through to post-16.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of complex learning, communication, sensory, and physical needs.
Support the class teacher in creating a positive, safe, and structured learning environment.
Promote engagement, independence, and holistic development.
Contribute to assessments, observations, and individual support planning.
HLTA status or significant experience delivering lessons in specialist settings.
Experience working within SEN, particularly with SLD and/or PMLD pupils, is highly desirable.
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trusting, supportive relationships.
