Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - EYFS PPA Cover

Veritas Education are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA to provide PPA cover within EYFS at a welcoming primary school in Morecambe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who enjoys working with young children and can deliver engaging activities while maintaining a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Role Details:

• Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Location: Morecambe
• Hours: Every Friday
• Setting: EYFS
• Purpose: PPA Cover
• Contract: Term-time only
• Start: September 2026

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience
• Have strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Be confident leading learning activities and managing whole-class groups
• Create a fun, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Work effectively as part of a wider school team
