CALLING ALL PRIMARY SCHOOL HLTA'S!

Are you an experienced and passionate teaching professional ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for primary school Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant schools across Warwick, Warwickshire.

You will have many absorbing duties such as:

  1. Supporting the Class Teacher
    Work alongside the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons, often taking on small group or 1:1 support.
    Provide tailored support to students, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to access the curriculum.
    Help prepare teaching resources and materials, ensuring they meet the needs of the students.
  2. Behaviour Management and Support
    Support the class in maintaining good behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
    Implement strategies to support students with emotional or behavioural difficulties, helping them to stay engaged with their work.
  3. Supporting SEN Students
    Provide more in-depth support for students with special educational needs, including adapting resources and assisting with personal care if needed.
    Collaborate with SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) and teachers to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
  • HLTA qualification (essential).
  • Strong behaviour management skills as well as SEN and EAL experience (essential).
  • A minimum of 2 years' UK HLTA experience.
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge, as well as safeguarding training (we can provide training).
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • References covering the last two years of employment.
