HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Bristol

Full Time – April Start

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to progress your career? Or perhaps you’re an HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) seeking a senior role in a specialist setting?

A fantastic specialist school in Bristol is looking for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join their community this April. The school supports students with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and complex needs. They are looking for a confident HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs in the field of education and training.

HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) Responsibilities:

* Guide students and ensure support within the classroom as an HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant).
* Learn students’ individual needs and adapt the classroom approach to suit them.
* Lead lessons and take on additional responsibilities as part of the education and training team.
* Collaborate with the SENCO to implement appropriate education plans (IEPs) for students.

The school offers excellent facilities and resources for you to use in lessons and student support. As an HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant), you’ll help students develop independence and functional skills in Bristol.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Previous experience as a TA in Specialist, Primary, or Secondary education.
* A relevant degree or qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
* Enthusiasm and dedication to supporting students in education and training are essential!
