HLTA and Cover Supervisor

Monday – Friday, Term-time only

32.5 hours per week

Grade 7 (10 hrs) and Grade 5 (22.5 hrs)

£21,079 pro rata

The Local Academy Council of Perton Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated higher level teaching assistant for January 2026.

Perton Primary Academy is a happy school where the children enjoy their learning. The children in our school are amazing and they are proud of their achievements. We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to the role and who has high expectations of pupils and can work effectively as part of a team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding higher level teaching assistant who has a positive attitude, demonstrates enthusiasm and is dedicated to the wellbeing and education of children.
  • Has experience of teaching whole classes as well as supporting in classrooms.
  • Be able to work well within a team and demonstrate a good sense of humour.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including diplomacy, resilience and strategic thinking.
