Job summary

Academics is seeking a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Gravesend from September. You will support learning across KS1 and KS2, deliver planned lessons in the teacher's absence, and help foster a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will have HLTA or equivalent experience in a primary setting, strong communication and behaviour management skills, and a flexible, proactive approach to supporting children and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous HLTA or similar primary school experience.
• Experience delivering planned lessons when teacher is absent.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 when required.
• Support pupil learning and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Assist staff and lead whole-class activities as needed.

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you an experienced HLTA or an accomplished Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Gravesend from September.

Working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar role within a primary school
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Confidence delivering lessons and leading whole-class learning when required
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting children and staff
