HLTA - Primary School - Greenwich (Near Abbey Wood Station)

Location: Greenwich - Near Abbey Wood Station
Start Date: 15th September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-time
Pay: £105 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

Overview

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated and confident HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join their team from 15th September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA ready to take on greater responsibility and make a real impact across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and whole-class teaching in the absence of the teacher.
• Support individuals and small groups to raise attainment.
• Assist with planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide targeted intervention and learning support.
• Contribute to assessments and progress tracking.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and leadership.
