Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) invites applications for an HIV Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Northern Sexual Health service in Manchester. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care, managing reactive HIV test results, and supporting newly diagnosed patients and reengagement of those out of care.

The post holder will work with an MDT including Consultants, Registrars, Pharmacists and psychologists, contribute to CPD, and may be considered for Band 5-6

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing to HIV patients across the Northern Sexual Health service.
• Support reactive HIV test result management and reengagement of patients.
• Contribute to clinical administration and CPD for the team.
• Provide care within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including consultants and pharmacists.
• Help develop injectable clinics and outreach/reengagement services.
• Support pre- and post-registration staff and students.
