Job summary

Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd in London is recruiting an HIU Installation Engineer to install HIU units on residential sites across the London area. The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The basic salary is £45k-£50k depending on experience, with van & fuel card, overtime, pension, life cover, training & development opportunities, and 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (25 after a year). A seasonal call-out rota is also in place.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 plumbing & heating or higher.
Previous HIU experience.
Experience in energy centres and plant rooms.
Willingness to study for relevant industry qualifications.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Install, commission and maintain HIUs and associated heating and hot water equipment.
Carry out planned, preventative and reactive repairs to district heating systems.
Diagnose and rectify faults affecting heating, hot water and system performance.
Identify defective components and determine repair or replacement needs.
Liaise with customers, residents and site teams to ensure smooth work execution.
Respond to emergency and breakdown calls within agreed times and SLAs.
