Are you a dynamic History Teacher looking for your next exciting role?

Vision for Education are seeking a Teacher of History for our client school in Stockport.

About the role

• Must be able to motivate, challenge and inspire pupils to succeed in History
• Must be committed to improving the outcomes for all pupils
• Will hold high expectations of themselves and pupils
• Will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and improve practice in themselves and others
• Will be up to date with relevant pedagogy and apply this to their teaching

The successful applicant will be teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

Starting Janaury 2026 and working on a full-time basis until the end of February 2026 in the first instance.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of History you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Be able to motivate, inspire and challenge students
• Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
