Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Qualified History Teacher to join a busy Leicester/Leicestershire team starting ASAP. The role involves regular day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term cover across local schools.

You will teach History to KS3/KS4, hold UK QTS, and have an enhanced DBS. You should be flexible, reliable, and able to work well within a supportive team. The assignment can lead to permanent roles and will require planning and marking in longer placements.

Qualifications

• UK QTS required.
• Relevant teaching experience across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is beneficial).
• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 beneficial).
• Cover day-to-day absences as part of a flexible supply rota.
• Longer-term roles may involve planning and marking in your specialist subject.

Are you a Qualified History Teacher looking for a new role? Have you recently completed your PGCE?

We are currently recruiting for History Teachers to join a busy team to work within Leicester and Leicestershire starting ASAP. We have an exclusive agreement in place with the Lionheart Academies Trust amongst many other Leicestershire based schools, which have a huge demand for teachers for both day to day, long term and permanent roles.

Aspire People are looking to appoint confident, flexible and enthusiastic teachers for regular work, this teacher position will start immediately and will be ongoing, based around your availability and other commitments.

To be considered for this position Aspire People you will need to have the following:

• UK QTS
• Relevant teaching experience across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is beneficial)
• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or wiling to apply for one)
• Excellent Communication skills and commitment to working as part of a team.

The schools we are recruiting for are looking for regular staff to meet their needs to fill a mixture of positions:

• Day to day work, which involves going to your local schools covering daily absences.
• Short term cover which can be for several weeks.
• Part time and full-time work.
• Long term work.
• Permanent work.

The daily work will involve going to several different schools in your local area on general supply. You may be required to teach a general mix of subjects throughout the day. The long-term work will require you to get a lot more involved in the school and the position will involve planning and marking in your specialist subject.
