Full-Time History Teacher – Eastleigh, Hampshire

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and inspiring History Teacher to join a dynamic and secondary school in Eastleigh, starting this January 2026. If you’re enthusiastic about bringing history to life and helping students understand the world through the lens of the past, this full-time position is a brilliant opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Permanent contract on offer after a probation period has been completed. School is happy to accept ECT’s and experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities of History Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Monitor and assess student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback.

Requirements for History Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for historical education.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
