Responsabilités

• Perform histology procedures including embedding, sectioning and staining.
• Carry out immunohistochemistry and special staining per protocols.
• Work as a locum in a UK-based medical laboratory.

This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified Histology Biomedical Scientist - Edinburgh to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £34 - £39 P/H.

Beneficial criteria to help be successful in this BMS role include the following:

• Histology experience
• Microtomy (including cores) IQC - Immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology microtomy Use of Leica Bond III, Ventana Ultra and Dako instruments
• Immunohistochemistry
• Special stains
• Embedding
• This role requires prior experience in a UK-based laboratory relevant to the post
• Microtome / Cutting sections
• HCPC Registration
• Biomedical Science Background
• Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
