Job summary

Your World is seeking a qualified Histology Biomedical Scientist for a locum assignment in High Wycombe. The role starts 22/10/2026 and runs through 29/11/2026, with pay £28.00–£32.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

UK lab experience and HCPC registration are highly valued, with sponsorship not available. Applicants should have strong histology skills including dissection of category A–C specimens, embedding, microtomy and access to dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Qualified histology biomedical scientist with UK experience preferred.
• HCPC registration or eligibility is required.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.
• Locum position in a UK-based laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Dissect category A–C specimens.
• Perform embedding and processing of histology samples.
• Carry out microtomy and sectioning tasks.
• Apply special stains as required.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and QC.

This Biomedical Science position is suitable for a qualified Histology Biomedical Scientist to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £28.00 - £32.00 P/H.
