Hiring Sewing Machine Mechanic / Technician – Iver, UK

Stratton Mills is an employment business supplying skilled Textile Personnel across the UK. We are currently looking for a Sewing Machine Mechanic / Technician to join our client on a full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent basis.

Role Overview

We are looking for someone with experience working on sewing machines who can install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment. This role includes workshop work and occasional on‑site visits.

Key Details

• Job Title: Sewing Machine Mechanic / Technician
• Pay: £17.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (part‑time available)
• Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Wednesday off)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Location: Iver, UK (near the M25)

Main Duties

• Install, repair, service, and maintain sewing machines and related equipment
• Calibrate and replace mechanical components
• Use the company vehicle for on‑site repairs when required
• Opportunity to earn extra income selling sewing machines to customers and demonstrating how they work

Ideal Candidate

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
• Strong experience with sewing machine installation, maintenance, and repair
