Job Overview

A newly created Hire Sales Managers opportunity is now available for this expanding provider of specialist plant and equipment as part of a new takeover and planned expansion.

Location

Candidates based in the Birmingham, Coventry, Stafford, Telford, Lichfield, Leicester and surrounding West Midlands and East Midlands areas will all be considered.

Role Overview

This exciting and financially rewarding vacancy is for the sale of generator plant equipment hire to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • This role requires a proactive and opportunistic 'go getter' ideally with experience of selling plant hire and or service and maintenance contracts on a b2b basis.
  • You may well have sold other industrial plant and equipment or come from a construction plant hire background or similar. Candidates applying can be sought from any plant hire sector, just as long as you have experience in securing plant hire deals.
  • Being a target driven and results orientated individual, you will enjoy new business developnent as well as farming and nurturing existing accounts to secure further deals whilst maintaining long standing relationships and customer retention.
  • Taking you to varied environments and sectors, you will have full autonomy to diversify and market seek opportunities and demands, this business prides themselves in offering plant solutions to sports stadiums, TV studios, festivals, hospitals, universities, Local Authorities, construction, power stations, retail, supermarkets and data centres to name a few target areas.

  • Experience of selling plant hire and/or service and maintenance contracts on a b2b basis.
  • Experience with power backup knowledge, generators or specialist plant hire experience is of particular interest, although not entirely essential.
