I'm working with a well‑established transport and highways consultancy looking for a CAD Technician to join their design team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a wide range of highway and infrastructure projects across the UK, including new roads, streetscape improvements, and highway schemes.
As a CAD Technician, you'll assist in producing highway designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications to local and national standards. You'll support the delivery of projects from feasibility and design through to construction, liaising with utility providers, Local Highway Authorities, and other stakeholders. You'll also help prepare reports, cost estimates, schedules, and other technical documentation, working closely with senior engineers to support programme and financial reporting.
