The Role

As a Technical Assistant, reporting direct to the Area Manager you will:

  • Provide technical assistance to Highway Operation teams
  • Contribute to the delivery of effective highway works through tasks as assigned by the Area Manager and identified through target setting and monitoring, performance appraisal and development and training
  • Management interrogation and co-ordination of complex databases and spreadsheets
  • Production of presentation quality maps, plans and technical drawings
  • Contribute to the data collection to develop the revenue and capital scheme delivery
  • Organising, preparation and implementation of permanent and temporary Traffic Regulation Orders as assigned
