Our county includes a number of vibrant Market towns and two beautiful National Parks with easy access to York, Leeds and Newcastle. Join us in keeping this vital and scenic network running smoothly.

The Role
  • Provide technical assistance to Highway Operation teams
  • Contribute to the delivery of effective highway works through tasks as assigned by the Area Manager and identified through target setting and monitoring, performance appraisal and development and training
  • Management interrogation and co‑ordination of complex databases and spreadsheets
  • Production of presentation quality maps, plans and technical drawings
  • Contribute to the data collection to develop the revenue and capital scheme delivery
  • Organise, prepare and implement permanent and temporary Traffic Regulation Orders as assigned
