Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple schemes including:
- Taking full commercial ownership of allocated projects under NEC contracts.
- Preparing and managing cost forecasts, CVRs and cashflow.
- Managing subcontract procurement, negotiation, administration and final accounts.
- Leading change management, including early warnings and compensation events.
- Preparing, submitting and agreeing applications for payment and variations.
- Supporting project teams with commercial advice and contract compliance.
- Liaising with client representatives and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.
- Providing guidance and informal mentoring to more junior commercial staff where required.
What you will bring
- Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or as an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up.
- Strong background in highways or civil engineering projects.
- Proven experience working under NEC forms of contract (essential).
- Experience with Tier 1 main contractors preferred.
- Good commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple schemes concurrently.
- Confident communication skills and a collaborative way of working with site and client teams.
