A local council in the UK is seeking Skilled Highway Operatives to manage various maintenance, construction schemes, and traffic management tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in highway work, a Class C1 driver’s license, and the ability to engage well with the public. BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole) Council's Highway Delivery Team are looking for Skilled Highway Operatives to join us in the delivery of works including routine maintenance, construction schemes, traffic management, winter service provision and much more. Do you have experience in the following types of Highway Work and are committed to improving the public highway for our residents and visitors?
Our Highway Maintenance Operative roles are currently subject to receipt of a Labour Market Supplement of £100 per month, subject to the outcome of BCP Council's Pay & Reward review. This role is also subject to a full pre‑employment medical questionnaire being completed by successful applicants.

Salary range: £28,142 – £31,537 (Band 5, pro rata for part‑time colleagues). All new starters start at the bottom of the pay band.
