Highway Inspector

Are you an experienced Highway Inspector looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Inspector to join a busy client in Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £250 per day, negotiable for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage highway maintenance works to ensure that the highway network is managed and maintained to a safe standard for the benefit of our communities.
• Implement reactive, preventative, and cyclical maintenance schemes, contributing to the effective management of the highway network, inclusive of footways, cycle routes, carriageways, and public rights of way.
• Work closely with local communities to ensure that highway standards align with local aspirations and needs, and keep communities and customers informed of our works, contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role. Carrington West is also looking for Highway Engineers and Technicians with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
