An opportunity has arisen for you to take on the role of 'Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist' within a thriving therapeutic multidisciplinary team based at the different sites across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands.
You will be working with a fixed caseload in an innovative and integrated way to ensure the learners thrive in their chosen subjects. You will be supporting your SLT colleagues at college and collaborating closely with the therapeutic team leader.
You will also be part of a large speech and language therapy team with forward thinking, enthusiastic individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disability across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire within the Mental Health Specialist Services Directorate and Community Forensic Directorate.
Learners attend Landmarks College to develop their independence skills and employability. Your role is to support the individual and the college in this process. The Landmarks therapeutic multidisciplinary team works in an integrated manner (alongside teaching and support staff) to implement positive outcomes in a functional manner.
You will be leading on Speech & Language Therapy provision at Landmarks in collaboration with the therapeutic team leader. You will be working with a fixed caseload with clear targets and outcomes for the individual and their environment.

Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
