Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to lead the opening of a new 15-bed neurocognitive service for men at Cygnet Afon Las, aimed to commence in early 2027. The role requires a Band 7 physiotherapist, with strong Band 6 candidates considered for progression, to establish and run the physiotherapy service within an interdisciplinary team.

Job description

A permanent post for 32 hours a week at Cygnet Afon Las, a new 15-bed neurocognitive service for men opening in early 2027. The physiotherapist leads and builds the service's physiotherapy provision from the outset, working within an interdisciplinary team. The work supports men with acquired brain injury, dementia and complex physical health needs, some under Ministry of Justice restrictions. Experienced Band 7 physiotherapists are sought, and strong Band 6 candidates are welcome to apply.
