A leading UK healthcare provider is looking for a Highly Specialist Pharmacist to join the renal pharmacy team, focusing on medicines optimisation and patient care at the Royal London Hospital. The Pharmacy Department at Barts Health covers a population of 2.5 million. We provide medicines management and medicines optimisation services from our four hospital sites across North East London.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic pharmacist to join the renal pharmacy team at Barts Health. You will work closely with medical and nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team on a wide range of medicines optimisation matters, and to ensure standardisation of medicine policies and procedures wherever appropriate.
You will also be expected to contribute to the research agenda working with staff across the Pharmacy department and student placements.
The job description is not intended to be exhaustive and it is likely that duties may be altered from time to time in the light of changing circumstances and after consultation with the post‑holder. The post holder might be required to work across the Trust at any time throughout the duration of their contract, which may entail travel and working at a different hospital site and travelling to satellite dialysis units in Romford and Redbridge.
