A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a patient-oriented pharmacist to enhance clinical pharmacy services in Cardiology. The role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective medicine management, contributing to performance targets, and managing junior staff. Applicants should have relevant post-registration experience and a diploma in General Pharmacy Practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic, innovative and friendly team dedicated to improving our ward based clinical pharmacy services. In this key post you will be working as part of an established multidisciplinary team and be responsible for providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to our Cardiology wards.
The post holder will work closely with the Pharmacy Team Lead for Medicine to monitor and control medicine use within the Cardiology service. They will support the strategic development of the pharmacy clinical and ward based services and lead on reducing risks associated with medicines within the Cardiology service.
As an enthusiastic and patient oriented pharmacist, you will combine expert opinion and expert practice at the bedside to benefit patient care, and work at the forefront within the multidisciplinary team to help us implement, deliver and continually improve medicines management.

This position is a job share and offers the opportunity to build on your management experience and specialism in Cardiology medicine. You will need excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills and will need to enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will need post-registration experience relevant to hospital pharmacy and will have the Post Graduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification.
