Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist (Echo; BSE accredited) Band 7 37.5 per week Permanent The cardio-respiratory investigations (CRI) unit within Tameside General Hospital provides a range of diagnostic services to the Tameside and Glossop areas. A rare opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified BSE accredited cardiac physiologist to join our existing team. The successful candidate will primarily perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiography independently, including both in-patient and outpatient studies. The physiologist will also support the cardiology team with other echo modalities and assist with training and departmental development. Experience of assisting in myocardial perfusion scan (MPS) would also be a distinct advantage as would experience of holter monitor analysis.
