Overview

Hillcrest Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to be based within our Nursery. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Qualifications
  • Experience with working with or caring for children in EYFS.
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status or working towards this.
  • Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy or willingness to work towards.
  • Ability to support pupil’s needs and assess this effectively.
  • Understanding of statutory frameworks relating to EYFS and Teaching.
  • The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
