Overview

Permanent Position - Required from December 2025

32.5 hours. term time only

The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint an inspiring, dynamic and creative Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an essential role in a happy, thriving and inclusive school.

Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the strong culture and ethos throughout the school which promotes the safeguarding, wellbeing and achievement of all pupils
  2. Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes
  3. Monitor pupils and assess, record and report to the class teacher on pupils' achievement, progress and development
  4. Support pupils' access to learning using a range of appropriate strategies and resources
  5. Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to pupils
  6. Support the personal, social emotional and health development of all pupils
  7. Assist the teacher with the development and implementation of personalised programmes of learning and support
