Job description

Our school has a mix of qualified teaching staff, Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants. We are assisted by our health and residential colleagues to support young people during their time at the centre. This provides an exceptional opportunity for young people to make progress and to ensure they have a wealth of opportunities that can prevent re‑offending. The school offers a 50‑week curriculum, although teaching staff are covered by teachers pay and conditions; the school terms are slightly amended to facilitate this.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed education professional who will help to drive and support the educational attainment and progress of all learners in Maths. The centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

These posts are subject to a fully‑enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check (£49.50). The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
