Job Summary

Key Qualifications

  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 and a HLTA qualification, or equivalent
Responsibilities

You will work with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem.

You will be resilient and dedicated; the small victories you achieve will be something you are proud of.

You will work with children who battle significant challenges, may have Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), trauma and other complex needs. You will be their rock and a trauma‑informed practitioner, helping them feel safe, develop trusting relationships and learn. Some of our children have gaps in their education; you will adapt learning so that it is suitable for all to achieve. You will create a classroom environment where children feel safe.
