Contract / Position Details
  • Location: Milnrow, Greater Manchester
  • Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
  • Type of work: Supporting teaching and learning, delivering small group or whole-class sessions, providing targeted intervention support, and assisting with planning and assessment
  • Start date: November 2025
  • Duration: 1-term contract (with the possibility of extension)
  • End date: End of Autumn Term (Term 1)
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time
  • Pay rate: Dependent on experience and pay scale
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Experience, Training and Qualifications
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent (essential)
  • Previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar classroom-based role
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year
  • Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills
Eligibility
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
