Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) (Full-time, Temporary)

Chester-le-Street, DH2

£262 - £275 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

January 2026 - April 2026

The School and Role

This Primary School in the Chester‑le‑Street area (DH2) is currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work on a part‑time basis from January 2026. The HLTA appointed for the role will be covering PPA mainly across KS2, but with 1 session in Reception/Yr1. Therefore, some experience of working across school would be desired. The role is for 2.5 days per week, and will be on an ongoing basis. This is a Good Primary school, where staff foster a love of learning and where children feel happy and supported coming to school.
