Job Advert: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £100-£115 per day

Role: Covering all classes across the school, with allocated PPA time

Are you a dedicated educational professional with a passion for supporting young learners? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to take on a Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role in a reputable school in North East Lincolnshire? Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Contribute to students' holistic development and well-being.
Additional Responsibilities

Cover all classes across the school and utilize allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time to support the school's educational objectives.

Requirements

To excel in this HLTA role, you should:

  • Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be patient, adaptable, and an effective team player.
  • Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role is advantageous.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • NVQ level 3/4 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working within KS2 or KS1
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Experience of supporting pupils with interventions
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
