Our Lady of the Assumption Primary School invites applications for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school from Nursery to Year 6, including absence cover by the class teacher.

The successful candidate should be hardworking, enthusiastic, flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding the welfare of children.

Qualifications

• Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent.
• Ability to deliver planned learning to classes from Nursery to Year 6.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning to classes from Nursery to Year 6 in the teacher's absence.
• Support teaching and learning across the school by delivering planned learning to individuals and groups.
• Work independently and as part of a team to support pupils and staff.
