Overview

HLTA - EYFS & KS1 Focus | Full-Time Role in Primary School | Rochdale | Start: November 2025 | Full-Time, Term Time

Responsibilities
  • Full-time, term-time only position
  • Responsible for covering PPA time in both Nursery and Reception classes
  • Leading small group sessions and supporting whole-class teaching
  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS curriculum
  • Supporting class teachers across EYFS and occasionally into KS1 as needed
  • Helping to maintain a nurturing and engaging learning environment
Ideal Candidate
  • Holds HLTA status or has significant EYFS experience (former Nursery Managers highly encouraged to apply)
  • Confident in delivering lessons and leading activities independently
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Passionate about early years education and supporting young learners
