HLTA - EYFS & KS1 Focus Full-Time Role in Primary School

Rochdale. Start: November 2025 Full-Time, Term Time.

The Role

Full-time, term-time only position.

  • Responsible for covering PPA time in both Nursery and Reception classes.
  • Leading small group sessions and supporting whole-class teaching.
  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS curriculum.
  • Supporting class teachers across EYFS and occasionally into KS1 as needed.
  • Helping to maintain a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Ideal Candidate
  • Holds HLTA status or has significant EYFS experience (former Nursery Managers highly encouraged to apply).
  • Confident in delivering lessons and leading activities independently.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about early years education and supporting young learners.
