Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a dedicated higher level teaching assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and SEMH needs. You will help learners grow, build self-esteem and resilience while working closely with school teams to deliver tailored activities.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience as a teaching assistant.
  • NVQ Level 3 and HLTA qualification, or equivalent.
  • Ability to plan meetings and liaise with teachers to develop learning activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEND to learn and develop confidence.
  • Work with teachers to implement engaging, therapeutic activities.
  • Create a supportive learning environment and monitor progress.
