The Role

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the class teacher
• Provide small group or one‑to‑one support for pupils
• Assist with planning, assessment, and classroom management
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders to support pupil progress
• Prepare learning materials and classroom resources
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe, engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Prospero)
• Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• Experience supporting children across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
• A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
• Own transport preferred due to location and flexibility

• Be registered with Prospero Teaching (or be willing to register)
• Be available full-time, Monday to Friday, term‑time only
• Be committed to supporting pupils' learning and development
• Be eligible to work in the UK
