Job summary

Compass Community is seeking an HLTA to support teachers in classrooms and deliver sessions with students, including 1:1 and small groups, to help children with SEMH and SEND.

Staff receive extensive therapeutic training, opportunities for professional development, and access to a range of benefits as described in the advert.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in the classroom
• Working with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students
• Managing classroom resources
• Taking children on trips and visits
• Having lunch with children who struggle socially
• Managing heightened behaviours and keeping children safe
