Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school within one of our partnered trusts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and committed individual to make a real difference to children's learning and development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school and will have the opportunity to deliver whole-class sessions and small-group interventions from EYFS through to KS2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead whole-class teaching when required, supporting a range of year groups.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging learning resources tailored to pupils' needs.
  • Support and implement Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to raise attainment and promote positive outcomes for all pupils.
  • Deliver a strong universal teaching offer and adapt approaches for pupils with varying abilities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values and commitment to learning.
Requirements:
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant status, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Training and experience in relevant learning strategies (e.g. literacy, Key Stage 1 or 2).
  • Experience of leading whole-class learning activities.
  • Experience of supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs.
  • A genuine passion for education and commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.
