About You

Woodlands Primary Academy is seeking a skilled and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to play a key role in enriching the learning experience across our school. You’ll take ownership of agreed learning activities within a structured framework, planning, preparing, and delivering sessions to individuals, small groups, or whole classes. With your experience, initiative, and proactive mindset, you’ll be a valued partner to both pupils and staff - helping to create a dynamic and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • GCSE English and Maths, Grade 3 minimum or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in working as a teaching assistant or equivalent
  • Experience in working with young people
  • Good understanding of child development and learning processes – including behaviour management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
