Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Ipswich, starting September. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Ipswich - September Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Ipswich, starting September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

The successful candidate will be confident leading small groups and whole-class sessions when required, supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Ipswich
• Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Type of work - Classroom support and intervention delivery
• Start date - September
• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
• Full time/part-time - Full time
• Rate of pay - £100 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm
• Working days - Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working within a UK school setting
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience desirable
• Experience leading small group interventions and supporting whole-class learning
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional child-related references
